2. Forbidden City

The Unesco-listed Forbidden City is China’s largest collection of ancient imperial artefacts.

The former Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty, it now houses the Palace Museum.

4. Hutongs

In Beijing, hutongs are alleys formed by lines of siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences.

5. 17 Arch Bridge at Summer Palace

The 150 meter long 17 Arch Bridge was built in 1750 by the Qing emperor QianLong and has 17 different arches on it.
