This is just short drive from the city and you’ll have to conquer a small climb, but reaching the summit of 870m is worth it. On a clear day the view of the city and the opportunity for a perfect Instagram shot is too good to miss.

3. Augustinergasse
This car-free area is one of the prettiest narrow streets in Zurich. With many well-preserved, colourfully painted bay windows, it provides an insight into the history of the city. Grab a picture at night when it is quiet for the best effect.

4. Swiss National Museum
The most visited cultural history museum in Switzerland presents history from its beginnings right through to the present day. The building is just as impressive on the outside, sitting next to the water in stunning surroundings.

While Lake Zuirch is possibly not as well known as Lake Geneva, it is a stunning place to stroll around and get away from the busy city. During the summer months it offers an absolutely gorgeous walk and endless opportunities to take Zurich Instagram shots.

6. Fraumünster Church
This beautiful church was built way back in 853 as a symbol to cherish aristocratic women. The stained glass windows and stunning facade as well as a visitor centre attract over 500,000 visitors every year.
