1. Bundesterrasse

The Parliament Square is a vibrant square in the heart of Bern. The water display located right in front of the Parliament Building, with 26 fountains representing the cantons, is an attractive sight.

2. Altstadt Bern

The Old Town of Bern is covered in 6km of arcades, and is where you’ll find the Zytglogge (clock tower), the cage tower, the figure wells from the Renaissance, the Bern Cathedral and many more photo spots.

4. Marktgasse with Zytglogge

On the hour, many people gather in front of the Clock Tower to watch the clock mechanism from the 16th century perform its unique duty.

5. Restaurant Kornhauskeller

The Kornhaus is a lovely example of high baroque architecture and is home to Bern’s most luxurious cellar restaurant.

The Minster is Bern’s most impressive example of Late Gothic architecture. Switzerland’s highest church tower, it has views across the city and into the Bernese Mittelland and the snow-capped mountains of the Bernese Oberland.
