Best Craft Beer Bars In MiamiHow do these rankings work?
1. Boxelder
Any beer-lover in Miami will know that Boxelder is one of the best craft beer bars to visit if you’re in for a short trip. From the unique interior design to the delectable bar eats and straight through to the impressive tap list, it’s got it all. It’s, dare we say…one of the best craft beer bars in the entire country. They serve a lot of local Florida beers as well, making it a great place to start your hoppy tour of Florida craft beers.
2. Botanica at Kush
Located on the outskirts of Wynwood, Kush is a pretty trendy spot. And, tucked away inside of the hole-in-the-wall spot you’ll find a neon-lit oasis full of some of the city’s best craft beers. Pull up a chair, start a game of dominoes and treat yourself to a bottle or two of some Hazy IPAs, American Wheats, or even a German Pilsner. You’re going to absolutely want to Instagram your visit.
3. The Mighty
Low lighting and a dive bar setting make The Mighty one of the best craft beer bars in Miami for travellers after a bit of a low-key evening. You’ll find all of the finest craft brews without any of the pretences that usually accompany a craft beer bar. Pouring local brews and tried and tested classics, The Mighty can cater to any kind of palate you possess.
4. Union Beer Store
The whale mural on the wall is only one reason to visit the Union Beer Store. Sure, it’s pretty Isntagrammable. But, they also serve some super special, exclusive brews that you won’t find anywhere else in the city. The fact that it’s located in Little Havana is just one of the many reasons to visit this laidback, trendy hotspot. Stop by for a few beers and then explore the other locally-owned shops in the area.
5. Veza Sur
Latin-inspired beers reign supreme at Veza Sur. The outdoor patio is always vibrant and full of life (and often thumping with the sounds of a local band). And, their beer cocktails have quickly become a hit amongst locals and travellers alike who are interested in something a little different than a standard glass of regular craft beer. Both the Spanglish Latin Lager and the Guava Sour are worth a try. However, there’s nothing here that’s not super delicious.
6. Lincoln’s Beard Brewing Co.
Aside from a pretty trendy name, this local brewery excels at attracting visitors who also like to “keep things weird.” Seeing as they’re located in the Bird Road Arts District, that comes as no surprise. They currently offer a Classic Irish Red that rivals the flavours of the hilariously-named P. Swayze IPA. The latter is a “silky mouthful,” which is enough to entice to have at least a few.
7. Tap 42
Tap 42 might be a bit west of Downtown Miami, in Coral Gables. But, that just means you’ll be further away from other tourists. And, the decor is to die for. Industrial yet modern and perfectly trendy, you’ll want to spend all night here tasting their 42 different craft beers on tap. Our pro tip is to sample their layered drafts, such as their Bruised Apple, which combines Apple Orchard Apple Cider and Guinness.
