Veganism is one of the fastest growing lifestyle choices of the moment, yet there’s still an idea that vegan food can be bland and tasteless. Well, that’s just not true. Plant produce is an exciting and delicious way to eat and it’s healthy AF. These amazing vegan restaurants in Krakow prove just that.
From vegan sweet treats to creamy pastas, Krakow is one city that caters to all tastes. Vegans, veggies and everything in between can happily eat their heart out here…
Best Vegan Restaurants In KrakowHow do these rankings work?
1. Vegab
It’s certainly not fine dining, and it won’t win any coveted stars, but this vegan kebab store has one of the world’s greatest dishes. It serves 100% vegetable kebabs made from tofu and wheat protein. It’s a casual place with the menu scrawled up on the wall. The perfect vegan cheat meal.
There’s also a location in Bydgoszcz, which is just as superb. Easily one of the best Vegan restaurants in the world.
2. Veganic Restaurant
This cosy restaurant with a pretty garden (perfect for al fresco dining in the summer!) is a must-visit for some of the best plant-based fare in the city. The vast majority of their menu is about 90% vegan dishes – using only the best ingredients, with attention to every little detail.
Think: gnocchi with curly kale pesto, cashew nuts, cream, sundried tomatoes, baked onion, rocket salad, and vegan parmesan.
3. Farma Vegan Burgers
Don’t assume that to serve up some of the tastiest burgers in Poland there’s gotta be meat involved – Farma Vegan Burgers prove that plant-based burgers can be just as good. Everything on the menu is fully vegan, and fully delicious.
Toppings include crunchy celery, nut cheeses and tangy sauces.
4. Pod Norenami
This is a beautiful vegan Asian eatery with heaps of creativity on the menu, with dishes that taste just as good as they look. Feast on dishes such as Korean spicy soup, “beef” braised with kimchi and vegan sushi and ramen.
Eating here is an unforgettable experience.
5. Bhajan Cafe Indian Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurant
The delicious hint of Indian flavours and aromas hits you as soon as you walk into this charming place. Bhajan Cafe cooks up all the classics you would expect from India, but with a keen focus on veggie ingredients. There are some dairy products on the menu, but the sheer range of skill in the vegetable dishes makes this a must-visit.
6. Pierogowy Raj
You can’t come to Krakow (or Poland, for that matter) and not have a serious feast on pierogies, aka Polish dumplings. There are meat pierogies on the menu at this popular hole-in-the-wall spot, but they go above and beyond with their vegan options. Choose from sauerkraut and mushroom; a broccoli, olive, and soybean stuffed pierogi or a sweet apple, rice and cinnamon option.
7. Youmiko Sushi
Youmiko Sushsi’s menu uses plenty of organic produce, with local ingredients as much as possible. While they do have fish sushi on the menu (sustainably caught), they go the extra mile with their vegan options. Any sushi set can be made 100% vegan, right down to the tasting menu.
It’s a tasty display of Japanese tradition with Polish creativity.

Because the cooks there are professionals. How good home cooking is depends on who cooks it. If they are not good at it, a restaurant will be better.
