1. The Jekyll And Hyde
It’s like taking a step back in time when you walk into this incredible cocktail bar. This is part old-school gin parlour and part high-end modern cocktail bar. A delight. You’ll find them here.
2. Aston Hall
This Grade I listed Jacobean house was built back in the early 1600s. You can explore the house and gardens, spend time in their coffee shop and just soak in all the magnificence of this beautiful building from another era.

3. Cadbury World
The majority of us have wanted to visit a chocolate factory ever since we saw Willy Wonka so the good news is that in Birmingham, Cadburys have made that a reality. Trying to take more pictures than you eat chocolate bars? That’s the only challenge.

4. Birmingham Botanical Gardens
15 acres of botanical garden in Edgbaston, which is just a short walk or drive from the city centre. Gorgeous fauna and plenty of lush space to explore mean you’ll end up with a stunning Insta snap.

5. Library of Birmingham
The largest public library in the UK when it opened in 2013, this impressive cultural space has come to define the city from a design perspective. A really great piece of architectural work.

6. Original Patty Men
The food here looks so good that you’ll struggle to get the photo in before stuffing their meals straight into your mouth. It might not be the healthiest grub in the world, but it sure looks – and tastes – amazing.
7. Symphony Hall
With a capacity to hold just under 2,300 people, this is one of the greatest music venues in the UK. They host everything from rock to jazz concerts and the visual backdrops to your photos will be absolutely stunningly unique.
