2. Kelvingrove Art Gallery – Floating Heads

A quality art gallery packed full of everything from dinosaurs to these surreal floating heads in the main room, which make a wonderfully unique Glasgow Instagram shot.

3. Ashton Lane

This magical back street in Glasgow attracts people from all over the city. It’s especially pretty in winter when all lit up, or during summer when everybody is outside having a drink.

4. Glasgow City Chambers

Home to the city council and what has got to be one of the prettiest staircases you’ll ever see. They offer free guided tours for the public so make sure to avail of those.

5. The Barras Market

This market’s name comes from the word wheelbarrow, which has been shortened and given some local slang. This is a weekend indoor market where you’ll find lots of bargains and generally just have fun wandering around.

7. The Lighthouse

Climb to the top of Scotland’s Centre for Design and Architecture and you’ll be rewarded with possibly the best view in the city. You’ll also find lots of great snaps to take within the lighthouse itself.
