2. City View from Cairo Tower

The tower is just shy of 190m tall and designed to look like a lotus on the river. You can get a lift up to the observation tower to enjoy a wonderful view of Cairo.

3. Great Sphinx of Giza

This giant limestone statue of a mythical creature that has the body of a lion and the head of a human is mind blowing.

The statute faces directly West to East and was built around 2250BC.

4. The Four Seasons Cairo

One of those grand old hotels that seem to be from a bygone era. Oozing luxury at every corner, you’ll discover some seriously spectacular Instagram spots in here.

7. Mosque of Mohammed Ali

This used to be the biggest mosque in the world and you can see it from pretty much anywhere in the city. It is a place of worship so remember that when taking photos.
