2. The Broad’s “Infinity Mirrored Room”

Easily one of the most Instagrammed exhibitions of all time: Infinity Mirrored Room – ‘The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away’ at the Broad. It’s an immersive mirror-lined room that you enter for 45 seconds, with flashing LED lights. The door closes behind you so you can get ‘gramming instantly.

3. Santa Monica Pier

Rent a bike and cycle up and down this landmark pier before heading to Pacific Park. What’s more iconic than this Ferris wheel and roller-coaster sitting at Santa Monica Pier? When the sun dips, grab a beer at one of the surf bars and take some sunset snaps.

4.  Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)

Since its opening at LACMA in February 2008, Urban Light has been unofficially adopted by Los Angeles as a symbol of the city. Made up of 202 cast iron lamps that once lit the streets of LA, this unique display is a must-visit.

The lamps turn on at dusk around 10pm, so swing by then for a photo of them all lit up.

5. ‘Hollywood’ Sign

What more is there to say about this legendary sight? The 45-foot-tall white letters in the Santa Monica mountains are a classic Los Angeles photo background. It can actually be surprisingly difficult to get a well-angled shot, so check out these tips.

7. The Bridge to Nowhere

Just two hours from LA, this abandoned bridge on a washed-away road in the San Gabriel Mountains is a popular hiking spot. It’s a 10 mile round-trip hike on the East Fork Trail along the San Gabriel Riverk, so be prepared for a workout.

Oh, and you can even bungee jump off the bridge itself if you dare. A wild Los Angeles Instagram shot.
