Dating back more than a century, Fenway Park is the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball. It was built by Red Sox owner at the time John Taylor. The park was supposedly named Fenway because of its location in the Fenway neighbourhood, which was built decades earlier over the marshland or “fens”.
The first official game at Fenway was played on April 20, 1912. Known for its lone red seat in the right-field bleachers (Section 42, Row 37, Seat 21) it signifies the longest home run ever hit at Fenway.

2. How do I get there?
The best way to get to Fenway is by taking the subway to Kenmore Square off the Green Line. Make your way to the Park Street station and you can take any train on the Green Line except for the E train.

Tickets to regular-season home games range from $21.14 for general standing room to $161.14 for the most expensive field box.
Private suites are available for all home games and events with pricing starting at $3,500 going all the way up to $18,000.
FYI, you can buy tickets the day of the game, but only a limited amount of tickets are for sale 90 minutes prior to game time.
