2. Cathays Park

This is Cardiff’s civic centre lined with gorgeous tree lined avenues. home to memorials and quality museums.

3. The View From Penarth

Penarth is a good four miles south of Cardiff but it’s the perfect place to come for either a view of the sea or looking right back into Cardiff city.

4. Victorian and Edwardian Arcades

Dotted around the city centre, these are some of the prettiest spots in the city. The arcades look especially good in the darker months when all lit up.

The place to come when you want a serious cheat meal in Cardiff. Huge portions and amazing tasting ice cream which will leave all your Instagram followers super jealous when they see your picture.

One of the most atmospheric stadiums in the world and a great place to watch rugby especially. You’ll get great images inside but it’s worth wandering down a bit before the match to get a picture of it from the outside.
