Best Chicken Wings in LeedsHow do these rankings work?

1. MEATliquor

This mega-popular spot might be best known for its burgers, but ever since opening in Leeds in 2014, MEATliquor has had some of the best chicken wings in Leeds. Their juicy buffalo wings are slathered in homemade sauce and come with a blue cheese dip. After your feast, check out the retro video gaming space in the basement.

2. The Dry Dock

Where else can you head to a docked boat maintaining its authentic features and pig out on incredible bites to eat? Opt for their classic crispy chicken wings, finished with spring onion, or try the buffalo wings with Stilton blue cheese and Frank’s hot sauce.

3. Absurd Bird

Golden fried chicken, fluffy waffles and tempting street food dishes are just some of the joys you will find in Absurd Bird. There’s all sorts of sauces, including Korean BBQ and Nashville hot. Swing by on Wednesdays for their all-you-can-eat wings for just £13.95 – trust us, you really will want to eat them all.

4. A Nation of Shopkeepers

This fun, eclectic spot is loved locally for its cocktail menu, good vibes and irresistible bar bites. There’s Southern fried chicken, as well as spicy chicken wings with sauces including a hot Korean style BBQ with sesame seeds sprinkle, or sweet & smokey BBQ. Seriously good comfort food.

5. El’s Gourmet

El’s Gourmet has tasty burgers and seriously good side dishes, but to come here and not have the wings would be a serious travesty. Both the buffalo and BBQ flavours are as good as each other. Want to switch it up a bit? Order the buffalo grilled chicken with mixed peppers, olives, cheddar strips and seasonal greens.

6. Jenny’s Jerk Chicken

For vibrant Caribbean flavours and succulent, charred chicken, Jenny’s Jerk Chicken always hits the spot. There’s tasty mutton stews and curries on the menu but the meaty wings are the star of the show.

You’ll want plenty of napkins as they are a messy-but-delicious eat.
