Here’s How You Can Livestream The Northern Lights

Bored of seeing the inside of your house? Well, you could switch things up with one of the most exciting natural wonders in the world… Watch the Northern Lights live as they dance across the skies in Canada.

It’s one of the best times of the year to see see this bucket-list phenomenon. So, this livestream of the Northern Lights from Manitoba is perfectly timed. Auroral displays appear in many colours although pale green and pink are the most common, while you’ll also spot shades of red, yellow, green, blue, and violet.

Which colours will you see when you tune in?

“Welcome to nature’s most amazing light show,” the livecam description says. “Located at the Churchill Northern Studies Center in Churchill, Manitoba, this live cam is located directly underneath the aurora oval — one of the best places on earth to watch the aurora borealis, the spectacular atmospheric phenomenon better known as the Northern Lights.”

When we checked the live feed, it was daytime, but you can rewind the cam feed to enjoy last night’s views of those dancing lights. This is the self-isolation escape we all need right now… You can see the live feed here.
