Friday Afternoon

Grab a self-guided tour book of the Garden District at your hotel and walk and learn about some of the most beautiful houses in the American South.Â
Next, head over to the National World War II Museum where there are always events going on like lunchbox lectures. Then learn about New Orleans’ people of yesteryear by taking an insightful cemetery tour. Learn about the famous Mardi Gras parades by visiting Mardi Gras World where costumes and floats are year-round. After, grab a beignet and a coffee for a snack at Cafe Du Monde.Â
Art lovers will adore visiting the New Orleans Museum of Art where over 40,000 works of art including those focused on Acadia. Be sure to take a picture at the St. Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square, perfect for Instagram. For dinner, head over to Arnaud’s Restaurant for shrimp Creole and their caramel custard.
Sunday Morning
After checking out of your enchanting hotel, head to Elizabeth’s Restaurant for your last meal in NOLA. Choose the famous praline bacon and the duck waffle for a sweet and savoury meal. It will be the perfect last resort before heading off to the airport, grateful for your weekend in New Orleans.
