2. Jónás Craft Beer House
A brilliant bar at any time of year but it really comes into its own when the sun shines and people spill out onto the terrace with their drinks. Seriously knowledgable staff who will talk you through their huge selection of drinks. They do great cocktails as well for those who don’t fancy beer.
3. Élesztő
They call themselves “the secret base of the Hungarian beer revolution” and once you step inside the welcoming basement and grab one of their large glasses of beers you’ll instantly fall in love with the vibes.
4. GoodSpirit Whisky & Cocktail Bar
A cocktail & whisky Bar where you can taste more than 500 spirits with some of the most talented bar staff in the country there to talk you through your choices. It started in 2006 and moved to a bigger premises in 2015 – they keep going from strength strength.
5. Szimpla Kert
A proper dive style bar that mixes the indoor with the outdoor areas and offers you a little bit of everything. They host markets, events, live music and other community focused gatherings. The perfect place to come with a group of friends to enjoy the buzzy atmosphere.
6. Blue Fox The Bar at the Kempinski – Budapest, Hungary
Cocktails that are so spectacular, vivid and imaginative that they seem to come alive as you drink them. A simple yet elegant room that is perfect for intimate conversations.
7. High Note Sky Bar
The perfect place to come and have an early evening drink and watch sun set on this wonderful city. As Budapest bars go, this is as spectacular as it gets. Great cocktails paired with superb food mean you’ll probably linger long into the night. A seriously world class venue.
