This restaurant and bakery serves up Hungarian and international eats, as well as freshly baked pastries – all 100% vegan. There’s daily changing specials, as well as staple dishes such as goulash, spelt pizzas or Thai curry.

5. Vegazzi
Think pizza needs real cheese to be tasty? Think again. Sourdough bases at this vegan pizzeria are perfectly charred and chewy, while a homemade rice milk mozzarella tastes just like the real thing. They also have delicious toppings such as grain sausage, beer yeast flakes and a lime and mushroom pesto that’s out of this world.

This simple-but-tasty vegan eatery with buffet is a top shout for a quick and filling meal in the city centre. There’s a huge array of options to choose from, including hot dishes such as red lentil stews, Indian curries with tofu and eggplant and lots of healthy and fresh salads and soups.
It’s nothing fancy, just proper good food.
7. Fill Good
Have a sweet tooth? Hightail it to Fill Good, a completely vegan bakery that has sweet treats as well as savoury bites to eat. They use mainly local and organic ingredients, taking real care with what they produce. Choose from tempting snacks such as plum dumplings, cinnamon swirls, Roman-style pizzas, and a rotating flavour of pogacha, a type of Hungarian bread.
