The Most Instagrammable Spots In Nevada

Nevada has heaps of mountains, canyons and scenic lakes, so before you head to the bright lights of Las Vegas, explore the outdoors. Drive along U.S. Highway 50 (known as the Loneliest Road in America) to pass over mountain ranges and stop off for stargazing in Tonopah, known for having some of the darkest night skies in the USA.

1. Hoover Dam

The Hoover Dam is a 700-hundred-foot-tall, concrete arch-gravity dam and is a modern marvel of the world. Visit and get ready for your jaw to drop at the sheer size of it.

2. Welcome To Las Vegas Sign

Have you even been to Las Vegas if you don’t have an Instagram photo with this sign? It’s a classic. Just be aware that it gets super busy during the day, so go as early as you can if you want to spend some time taking pics.

3. Seven Magic Mountains

Best. Instagram. Ever. These towering colourful, stacked boulders are are 10 miles outside of Vegas in the desert. The boulders, by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, pay homage to the contrast between the natural and the artificial.

4. The Paris Las Vegas Eiffel Tower

An icon of the city skyline, this unique attraction is located 46 stories up and is a half scale replica of the world-famous Paris, France landmark. Head to the viewing deck for panoramas of the strip.

5. Red Rock Canyon

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area has awe-inspiring views that you wouldn’t expect to see near a major metropolitan city. In contrast to the bright lights and hype of the Strip, Red Rock is a peaceful place of desert beauty.

6. Sand Harbor Beach

The largest alpine lake in North America, Lake Tahoe is a sparkling blue lake in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The water here is crystal clear and makes for a pretty shot for the ‘gram.
